2015 Schedule Announced

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (December 11, 2014) The Connecticut Sun will tip off its 13th season in the state with a home game at Mohegan Sun Arena against the Washington Mystics on Friday, June 5th at 7 p.m.

The Sun play three of their first four games at Mohegan Sun Arena, and 10 of 17 home games will be played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Weekend highlights include a matchup with Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, June 26th at 7 p.m. and a visit from Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm on Friday, July 31st at 7 p.m. The regular season ends with a game against Elena Delle Donne and the Eastern Conference champion Chicago Sky on Sunday, September 13th.

Among other noteworthy home games, Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and the Minnesota Lynx visit Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday, July 14th while Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and the defending WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury travel to Connecticut on Thursday, August 27th.

The visit from Los Angeles on July 26th marks the start of the longest home-stand of the season for Connecticut. Indiana follows the Sparks on Tuesday, June 30th, and the Sun host Chicago on Thursday, July 2nd.

Connecticut will be tested early by a West Coast swing through Seattle (6/16), Phoenix (6/19) and Los Angeles (6/21). The Sun also have two back-to-backs, facing Indiana and Washington on July 18-19, and New York and Chicago on August 29-30. The visit to Chicago begins a stretch of four road games that includes Indiana (8/1), San Antonio (8/4) and New York (8/9).
