William “Bill” Cameron currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Offi cer of American Fidelity Assurance Company (AFA). He is also Chairman of the Board of First Fidelity Bank, N.A., and a director of Insurica. He has served as an offi cer of American Fidelity companies since 1986 in a variety of capacities.
Additionally, Cameron serves on the board NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder and the AFL’s Tulsa Talons.
Cameron is active in several community and civic organizations. He is the past chairman of the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation. He serves on the board and executive committee of the Amazon Conservation Team, Arlington, Virginia and, additionally, he serves on the following Oklahoma based civic boards, Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, State Fair of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Business and Education Coalition, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, and Westminster School. Cameron is also a past regional chair and international board member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
He is also active in the U.S. Life & Health Insurance industry’s trade associations through his service as a director and a member of the executive committee of America’s Health Insurance Plans and a former board member for American Council of Life Insurers.
In 1982, Cameron received his B.A. in history from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He has three daughters, two of whom play basketball and one dances ballet.
David Box is President and CEO of Box Ventures. As a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a native of Oklahoma, Box has created a diverse portfolio of companies that include: Box Talent Agency, Box Real Estate, Box Ventures, The Greens Country Club and Cameron – Box Sports, which includes an interest in the Tulsa Talons arena football team. From his humble beginnings as a concert promoter to currently employing over 120 team members, Box is a true entrepreneur.
Recently celebrating its 23rd anniversary, Box Talent agency is a driving force behind Tulsa and Oklahoma City’s entertainment industry. Over the years David has produced a number of highly successful concerts for national artists that have included Toby Keith, John Mayer and the Dixie Chicks. David is the “go to” guy for everything entertainment and has served as a consultant for George Shinn, owner of the New Orleans Hornet’s and Willie’s Place – a venue owned by Willie Nelson. The agency is well known throughout the region and represents many of Oklahoma and Texas’s most requested party bands. As exclusive booking agents for multiple clubs within the region, Box Talent is always looking for new artists and venues with a fresh prospective.
With over one million square feet of real estate in Oklahoma, Box is consistently looking to expand on his diverse portfolio. Box’s holdings include property on Norman’s historical Campus Corner, key commercial space in Oklahoma City’s up and coming district’s that include Midtown, Western Avenue, and 23rd Street. Additionally, Box is majority owner of the Greens Country Club in Oklahoma City. The club includes an 18-hole championship golf course, state of the art tennis facility, a beautiful 30,000 square foot clubhouse and three swimming pools.
In addition to his business interest, Box is active in his community. He has served as Vice-Chair on the Integris Young Philanthropist Board, keynote speaker at many local chamber events, and has produced a wide range of benefi t/charity events, including Rolling Stone’s magazine Nationwide College tour, headlined by Dave Matthews and Big Head Todd for victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
