College Highlights
During warm-ups before a summer game in advance of her senior year in high school in the summer of 2009, the reigning N.J. Gatorade POY tore her left ACL; she would miss her senior season. A slow start as a Maryland frosh was then erased by a much improved soph. year (35 starts, 13.1 ppg). And then it happened again – the preseason All-ACC and Wooden Preseason Top 30 pick tore her right ACL five games into the 2012-‘13 season. Said Coach Brenda Frese: “She was coming into her own. Playing point; scoring. Her and Alyssa Thomas (CT Sun) were our anchors…Batman and Robin.”  Ultimately redshirted, maintaining two years of eligibility. A year later, not 100 percent until the postseason, played a key reserve role in the Terps’ 2014 Final Four run. Now in 2015, returned to form – paced ACC in FT shooting (.862) and was No. 9 in 3PFG percentage while helping Terps to consecutive Final Fours for first time in program history. Entered Elite 8 game avg’g a career-best 13.9 ppg.
